e-Visa is an online application system developed by the Albanian government to pre-screen travelers wishing to visit Albania.

Applicants have full access to the e-Visa application system. They must complete the e-Visa process before traveling to Albania by air, land or sea.

The e-Visa application process can be completed entirely online and is operated by Albania Government.

  • Applicants are required to enter biographical information
  • They will also need to answer questions about VWP eligibility
  • People with dual nationality should choose the passport nationality
  • Travel Authorization is also required by children who do not yet require a ticket

Exemption of visa to enter and stay in the Republic of Albania for up to 90 days in 180 days

  1. Foreign citizens with valid Schengen visa or permit of stay
  2. Foreign citizens with valid US/UK visa or permit of stay
  3. Foreign citizens who may stay in Schengen area without visa
  4. Foreign citizens with 10-year UAE residence permit
  5. Citizens from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Indonesia, Thailand (until Dec 2025)
  6. Holders of EU travel documents (refugees, stateless persons, etc.)

Electronic Visa

It is an authorization printed in electronic form, sent by email with an electronic stamp. No need to visit consular office.

Stamped Visa

Authorization in the form of a stamp visa. Applicant must physically present for withdrawal at consular office.

Visa Type “A”

Airport transit visa, allows stay in international airport area until next flight. Can be issued with one, two, or multiple entries.

Visa Type “C”

Short stay visa, up to 90 days in 180 days. Can be issued with one, two, or multiple entries.
